That One Sunny Day in Krabi
It's the tail end of February in the Pacific Northwest. Just like clockwork, I am finding myself totally over with this cold, rainy, and gray situation. I am longing for warm, sunny days preferably spent on a beach somewhere in the tropics. A girl can only wish ... all day, every day.
For a temporary cure, I have dug out from my digital box of memories some photos that I have never shared before (not even on Facebook because reasons) from that one beautiful day Stuart and I spent island hopping around the Andaman Sea. I'm emphasizing one because it was literally the only day during our five days there with clear blue skies; we were there during monsoon season. All the other days, the sun would only show up for a couple of hours or so before the rain starts dumping again, though that never stopped us from exploring and enjoying our vacation.
Arranged through our hotel, we joined an island hopping tour visiting four different islands including the popular Hong Island and its lagoon. (Lading Island, Pak Bia Island, Nopparat Thara Beach, & Hong Island).
Last year's European adventure was amazing, but this year shall be all about major beach time ... wherever that may be. I'm taking suggestions. This year's vacation goal: soaking up some rays with toes in the sand, with a cocktail or a book, or both. I guess Stuart can come too. 😄
