We decided to have a fun photoshoot in Vienna to remember our incredible trip by. Because we are not the selfie types, we usually have very few photos of us together during our travels. After this year's health challenges and recently celebrating 10 years of marriage, this trip is a gift and a blessing, so we enlisted a professional to capture us enjoying what we love -- each other and traveling together!

Food in Penang is cheap. Hawker stalls and carts are everywhere selling plates, bundles, and bags of edibles. Penang has been dubbed the Food Capital of Malaysia. With the conglomeration of Chinese, Malay, Muslim, colonial British, and Indian cultures in this part of the world, the food options in Penang are abundant to the verge of overwhelming. And did I mention cheap?

Looking for a memorable way to celebrate our 9-year wedding anniversary, we decided to indulge and gift ourselves with The Herbfarm's 9-course pre fixe experience. Highlighting the flavors brought about by summer in the Pacific Northwest, The Herbfarm took us on a farm-to-table culinary journey.
Since our flight from San Francisco back to Seattle wasn't until later that evening, we had some time to kill in the city. I chose to indulge a little for lunch and checked out the Michelin-star awarded Hakkasan. Established first in London, this modern Cantonese restaurant has expanded all across the globe with locations in Dubai, Miami, and Shanghai plus a few more. We lunched on a selection of dim sum classics as well as more innovative culinary creations.
The tiny town of Pescadero (pop. 643) was our destination when we went on our drive on Hwy 1. We really didn't know what was special about it, but our aunts seem to adore this place. Small towns possess their own charming qualities after all.
